CM Journal Pages 7: Our Deepest Fear

We are divinely sanctioned creators of experience seeking to know the truth of that experience. Our endeavor to know the truth of each unique experience has gone on and will continue for eternity. We are insatiably curious creators and have no intention of stopping. Everything and anything that can be thought of in the mind of God is being played out through reality.

Does this awareness have the potential to impact your day to day life? Yes! Dramatically. In fact, I cannot think of another more powerful and life-changing concept than this.

The shift to being a divinely sanctioned creator
is the most powerful perspective there is.

My Guidance says the vast majority of the world's population is uncomfortable with the idea that we are creators. Unknowingly at an unconscious level most would rather hold to the premise that we are powerless and a victim to the process of life. Let me explain.

First, if we let go of the belief that we are powerless we would then have to admit just how powerful we truly are. The idea that we are powerful creators of our lives is quite scary.  We prefer, instead, a false sense of comfort and safety believing that we have little influence over what happens to us - a victim in other words, which provides a convenient excuse to hide behind.

As Marianne Williamson expressed so beautifully in her poem:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure."

If God is the creator of this reality and "all-that-is" then God is experiencing through you, as you. Doesn't that make you powerful beyond measure? That's a lot to chew on.

We created this life on purpose.

Second, we would have to admit that we (God) created this life on purpose and that it is exactly where we want to be and it is exactly what we intended to create.  From this perspective you can now look at your life and all of those around yourself from the awareness that each of us designed our lives for the express purpose of knowing the truth of something.

We tend to place a value on life's expression saying one is good and another is not. But all-is-God, period. Each life is a deliberate creation of God regardless of the value judgment we may attempt to apply. Our lives are an infinite expression of desired experiences of God. After all, as creators how else are you going to know the truth of something except to live it?

My dear friend and mentor Dayana Jon gave me an extraordinary definition of compassion from her higher guidance AMAG: "compassion is the utmost respect and honoring of another's choice even though it is one that you would never make yourself."

Take a fresh look at your life. Whatever you are going through ask yourself, "What is it I am trying to know the truth of?  What do I now know about ....?" Rather than feeling like a victim, consider how differently you would perceive life knowing it was your divine intention. From the place of a curious creator you can look upon your life as a grand journey of discovering the truth of every experience you are going through.

In the next CM Journal Pages we'll delve deeper into this transformational perspective.
