Recent discoveries show the Earth's core has a fluid outer core. This liquid outer core of mostly iron and magnesium is believed to be vulnerable to stratospheric and atmospheric waves made up of differing unique "charged particles". Theses particles are made up of various size, speed, velocity and charge which vary along an x-ray spectrum from its largest known as "solar flares and coronal mass ejections" (CME's) which comes from our Sun. - The smaller particles known as "gamma rays" or GRB's which come from Pulsars and Nova's. The smallest particles are known as "galactic cosmic rays" or GCR's which come from our galaxy the "Milky Way".

It is now believed there is a direct causal effect to the Earth's core which not only affects tectonic plates in the way of earthquakes and volcanoes, but can actually have an effect on the Earth's axis. Mayan prophecy (as well as other ancient text) speaks of such events. It is just now that science is catching up to ancient wisdom.

The Earth's magnetic field is generated by what is known as the "dynamo or dipole" theory which involves the convection of liquid iron in the outer core. A requirement for the induction of field is a rotating fluid. Rotation in the outer core is supplied by the Coriolis Effect caused by the rotation of the Earth. The Coriolis force tends to organize fluid motions and electric currents into columns aligned with the rotation axis.

A team of scientists from Kobe University which has been published in the scientific journal Nature, say they have discovered a secondary flow pattern consisting of inner sheet-like radial plumes, surrounded by westward cylindrical flow. It is the "dynamo or dipole" which is known to generate the Earth's magnetic field.

This discovery of a second flow in the outer core has not been seen in geo-dynamo models before, due largely to lack of sufficient resolution in earlier models. What role this secondary flow plays in the reversal of the Earth's magnetic field is one area of research geo-physicists are anxious to know.

Is it possible our Mayan ancestors knew of a multi-millennium cycle which originates from the galaxy's core, channeling a narrow pulse of charged particles which will have an effect on Earth's magnetic field, Earth's core, and our own human magnetic field as described by acupuncturists as Chi, Ki, Prana, Gaia, and Luke Skywalker's "The Force".
