Most of us have heard that our conscious mind is only 5% - 10% of our mental capacities.  Furthermore science confirms that the "mind" is nowhere to be found in the human body.  Your brain is not your mind but seems to be something like a circuit board transmitter for the mind. More fabulously, your brain is not the only transmitter.  Your heart thinks, your liver thinks, your kidneys think and so on.

As a Naturopath I am very aware of how thoughts and emotions affect the health of the human body. Every strong belief and emotion will be held in the organ of the body that resonates with it.  I have seen unresolved anger and bitterness manifest in gall bladder problems, anxieties and fears weaken the kidneys, and severe grief depress lung function.

If the brain, as well as the entire body, is a transmitter for the mind, where is the mind?

The movie projector

We are a play of light on a three dimensional screen of life.  "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one" as Einstein said. Our mind is somewhere behind the movie projector.  From this perspective we are privy to everything that is happening, directing where we intend to go and how we want the movie of our life to develop.

The 5% - 10% of our conscious thinking mind has always been aware of this "something else" and has given terms to it such as intuition, psychic awareness, or divine connection.  It is the mysterious unconscious.

Your Higher Guidance

Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could go behind the projector and talk to the real mind?  You can by accessing your Higher Guidance! 

Higher Guidance is the term I use when referring to our divine intuition - our awareness and connection to the part of us behind the movie projector. It is the divine thread connecting us all the way back to Source where all things are known.  Aspects of our Higher Guidance include our Soul, Higher Self, angels, spiritual guides, High Council, God and numerous other entities involved in the creation of the universe. (The "reality" illusion takes an orchestration beyond the capabilities of the human mind to comprehend.)

No matter how you attempt to describe the Divine connection, the wonderful fact remains that we are part of, and have access to, a much broader consciousness and energy; it's where we came from and where we will ultimately return to.

Guide for the Journey

Higher Guidance is the part of us that always knows exactly what is going on.  When we open communication with our Higher Guidance we are able to get direct answers to our most pressing questions. 

Know that your Higher Guidance wants to be in communication with you and is, in fact, always in communication with you.   With your invitation, your Higher Guidance is ready to take you on an amazing journey of discovery. 

You may be familiar with Higher Guidance (maybe under a different context such as "intuition") but at times question your experiences because you have trouble distinguishing between the incessant chatter of the head and the true, clear messages of higher wisdom. Don't feel alone; almost everyone struggles with sorting the chatter from the message.

My favorite method of receiving information and confirmation of Higher Guidance is through pendulum dowsing. I started dowsing over 20 years ago and have become a master at connecting with my own Higher Guidance and that of my clients.

Unlike when someone tells you something that can easily be dismissed by denying its validity, you cannot hide from the truth of your Higher Guidance. This truth will set you free.
